What we publish — and won't

We publish calculators, data tables and explainers whose claims can be verified against formulas or cited sources. We do not publish price predictions, trading signals, sponsored rankings, or "news" rewritten for clicks. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or tax advice — see the disclaimer.

AI assistance disclosure

We're transparent about how this site is made: content and code are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by CryptoSums Editorial Team before publication. Formulas don't care who typed them — which is why our trust model rests on automated tests, cited sources and visible assumptions rather than on prose alone. Data files (tax rules, APYs, yields) are verified by a human against the official sources linked on each page.

Corrections

If we got a number, formula or rule wrong, we want to know: contact us with the page and the issue. Verified errors are corrected promptly; materially wrong guidance gets a visible correction note on the page and an updated "last updated" date. We'd rather issue ten corrections than defend one wrong number.

Update policy

  • Time-sensitive data (tax years, APYs, yields) carries a "last verified" stamp and is reviewed on the cadence listed in the methodology.
  • Guides are reviewed when the rules they describe change, and at least annually.
  • The "updated" date on a page changes only for substantive updates — not for typo fixes.

Affiliate independence

Some links earn commissions (marked sponsored, disclosed near the link, and listed plainly on the about page). The rules that keep that honest: calculators never change output based on partnerships; we link at most one primary partner per page; and if the best answer for the reader conflicts with a commission, the reader wins. Partners cannot preview, edit or veto content.
